Jensen, Adrienne Chloe: Walking On

White Swan, Washington

Funeral services were held for ADRIENNE CHLOE JENSEN, 62, on April 24, at the White Swan High School Gymnasium. Interment followed at the Reservation Community Memorial Park. Adrienne was born May 21, 1949. She passed away April 18, 2012.
    
Adrienne was a descendant of the Yakama Nation and Shoshone-Bannock tribes. She was a lifelong resident of White Swan, graduating from White Swan High School in 1968. She attended Seattle Community College and Fort Wright College. Adrienne began her career with the Mt. Adams School District in 1974 and retired in 2006. Adrienne was one of the first trained EMTs when the Yakama Nation started the White Swan Ambulance Service in 1980. She served as an EMT for 28 years, retiring due to her health. Adrienne was also a volunteer firefighter for the Fire District #5’s White Swan Fire Department for 15 years. (Yakama Nation Review, April 27, 2012)
