Hamlin, Rocky: Walking On

Lengby, Minnesota

A memorial service was held for ROCKY HAMLIN, 54, on March 12, at the Anderson-Mattson Funeral Home. Rocky was born April 15, 1957, in White Earth, Minnesota. He passed away March 7, 2012, at his residence.

Rocky grew up in the Pine Bend Area and attended school in Fosston, Minnesota. As a young man, he worked for John Burdick Logging as well as Marvin Windows. He was currently employed at Minnesota Dehydrated Vegetables in Fosston. Rocky had a wonderful sense of humor and befriended everyone he met. He was always joking, laughing, and visiting with those around him. He enjoyed being outdoors and spent many hours hunting, fishing, and keeping busy in his yard. He was also a ‘grease monkey” and loved to tinker around fixing things. He was not afraid to work and his hands were never idle. By far the most important thing to Rocky was his family, he was dedicated to them and was a devoted husband. (Anishinaabeg Today, April 11, 2012)
