Jim, Ronald William: Walking On

The Dalles, Oregon

Graveside services were held for RONALD WILLIAM JIM, 63, on April 3, at the Pinecreek Cemetery at Roosevelt, Washington. Ronald was born February 2, 1949, in Goldendale, Washington. He passed away March 31, 2012, at The Dalles.
    
Ronald grew up in Celilo Village at Pinecreek, and at Roosevelt. He attended school in the Chilaco Indian School of Oklahoma, the Concho Boarding School of Oklahoma, and graduated from Wahtonka High School in The Dalles, Oregon. Ronald was “Mayor of Celilo”, a member of the Wa’ashut Religion, the Indian Shaker Church. He enjoyed art, birdhouses and wildlife. (Yakama Nation Review, April 9, 2012)
