Logie, Daniel Joseph: Walking On

Toppenish, Washington

Funeral services were held for DANIEL JOSEPH LOGIE, JR, 47, on November 29, at 1910 Shaker Church in White Swan, Washington. Daniel was born February 13, 1964, in Toppenish. He passed away November 26 2011, in Toppenish.
   
"Joe" was educated in Portland and at the Yakama Tribal High School where he graduated. He worked as a water truck driver for Wheeler Logging. He commercial fished with his dad in Alaska. Joe was very skilled with fish and deer. He was well known for his hunting, cutting, cleaning skills and smoking fish, which was one of his passions. He was also known for his cooking skills and could cook an entire dinner for the church without hesitation. (Yakama Nation Review, November 30, 2011)
