Harvey, Kenneth: US Army Veteran Walks On

Olympia, Washington

Funeral services were held for KENNETH HARVEY, 62, on August 8, at the Nisqually Tribal Community Center. Interment followed in the Nisqually Cemetery. Kenneth was born May 9, 1949, in The Dalles, Oregon. He passed away August 3, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident.
   
“Kenshaw” served in the U.S. Army. He attended Granger Public Schools in Granger, Washinton and Chilocco Indian School in Oklahoma. His employment history includes working for the Nisqually Tribe’s Red Wing Casino in Olympia and at the Puyallup Tribe’s Chief Leschi Schools for 16 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, being an artist, traditional dancing, wrestling and running. (Yakama Nation Review, August 26, 2011)
