Puckett, Ora Jo: Walks On

Weleeka, Oklahoma

A memorial service was held for ORA JO PUCKETT, 94, on July 11, at the Weleeka Cemetery. Ora was born August 12, 1916, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully July 5, 2011, in Edmond, Oklahoma, with family by her side.

While living in Belen, New Mexico, Ora volunteered at the Belen Harvey House Museum, which brought a rich piece of history to her community. (Navajo Times, July 14, 2011)
