Beaulieu, Darla Ann: Walking On

Red Lake, Minnesota March 2011

Traditional funeral services were held for DARLA ANN BEAULIEU, 46, on January 18, 2011, at the Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake. Interment followed at family burial grounds in Clearwater, Minnesota. Darla was born August 11, 1964, in Red Lake. She passed away January 1, 2011, at her home, along with her lifelong companion, Craig Roy, Sr.

Darla attended school in Red Lake, Warroad, and Flandreau, South Dakota, graduating from South High School in Minneapolis. She was recently employed by the Red Lake School District as a bus driver, and was also a Housing Commissioner in Red Lake. She had been previously employed by social services in Red Lake, a blackjack dealer at the Mystic Lake Casino, Deerwood Bank Manager, police officer in Red Lake, a waitress at Butler Drug in Minneapolis, a summer youth coordinator, a flag person for road construction, at Honeywell in Minneapolis, and as a receptionist in Minneapolis. She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends. She was a great cook and baker.
