Penokee Mountains Heritage Park casual walk to drill site (8min)

Join Paul DeMain and Dale Kakkak as they take a casual walk in the Penokee Mountains Heritage Park, near Upson, Wisconsin on June 22nd, 2013 to check out the Gogebic Taconite drilling operation that is being moved from one site to another, drill hole #4 of 8 planned by the mining company. This drill site is the proposed site of one of the worlds largest open pit iron ore mines. The mine is opposed by all 11 Wisconsin Indian tribes and numerous local citizens concerned about water, air and environmental quality issues.
