Doctors at The Childrens Hospital at OU Medical Center say formerly conjoined twins separated by surgery are making progress in their recovery.
The condition of Preslee Faith Wells was upgraded during late January from critical to serious condition.
Her twin Kylee Hope Wells remains in critical condition and both are still in the hospitals neonatal intensive care unit.
The twins were born Oct. 25 to 20-year-old Stevie Stewart of Calumet and are believed to be the first American Indian conjoined twins.
The were separated during a more than three-hour surgery on Jan. 19.
