Oriental Pilau with Wild Rice

Ingredients:

1 four-pound chicken, seasoned
2 cups of wild rice
1 cup of white rice
3 sliced onion
1/2 cup raisins
  cinnamon
  pepper

Directions:Roast chicken until well done. Bone into fairly large pieces. Cook wild rice until nearly done. Drai, add fresh water and white rice. Cook until fluffy. Saute onions in chicken fat or other fat. Add peanuts and raisins and continue frying. Add rice and sprinkle with cinnamon and pepper while frying. Add chicken and mix well. Place in covered casserole and bake at 200 degrees about 3 hours to enhance taste.

 

Serves 10-12.
